Entrance and massage
Steam rooms, saunas, outdoor swimming pools…Spend as long as you want relaxing in the beautiful Gellért thermal baths, while you admire the beautiful Art Nouveau styled rooms, furniture, mosaics and sculptures.
As well as enjoying skip-the-line access to the spa, treat yourself to either a 20-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute heavenly massage. There are three types of massage:
- Aroma: an aromatherapy massage performed with calm and delicate movements designed to relax the muscles.
- Refreshing: inspired by Swedish massages, this treatment is performed with fast and strong movements that reduce tension in the muscles and body pain.
- Luxury Refreshing: enjoy a massage treatment performed with the best creams.
The minimum age for the massage is 16 years old.
Opening times
- Although Gellért Spa is open every day until 8 pm, you must access the spa via the priority ticket office which is is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
- Bear in mind that certain beauty treatments, like the massages, end at 6pm.
- On the 24, 25, 26, 31 December and 1 January, the opening hours are reduced. We suggest, if you can, to visit Gellért Spa on another day.
Important information
The Gellért Spa outdoor swimming pool is only available in high season, between May and September/October (depending on the weather). Low temperatures mean that it cannot be used during the rest of the year.
Weekend supplement
Please keep in mind that the admission fee is € 3 (US$ 3.50) more expensive on the weekends.
Gellért Spa entrance
If the Gellért Spa with massage option is fully booked, you can book the entrance to the spa without massage and discover one of the most popular thermal baths in Budapest.
Accessibility
The Gellért Spa has six accessible interior pools. The outside pools are not accessible.
