Palermo Free Tour

The neighborhood of Palermo is one of the most extensive and prettiest in Buenos Aires. Discover it with this guided tour which will take you to the Botanical Gardens or even the Bosques de Palermo (Palermo Woods). Best of all, it's completely free.

Palermo Free Tour

We will meet up at the Rural convention center in Palermo, from where we start our two-hour free guided tour of the largest, and one of the prettiest, neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

Strolling through the district, you will admire the beautiful tree-lined avenues and elegant townhouses. You will discover one of the principal attractions of the neighborhood, the Botanical Gardens, a pretty green space of 17 acres.

During our free tour, you will discover the types of vegetable that are native to Buenos Aires. You will also hear about the history of the green space, which was designed by the Frenchman Carlos Thays, and which is composed of the gardens of different styles.

The next stop takes place at the US Embassy in Buenos Aires before arriving at the Bosque de Palermo (Palermo Woods), also known as the Parque Tres de Febrero (3 February Park). This space is considered to be the lung of the city, covering 300 acres of lakes, groves of trees, and beautiful rose bushes.

Finally, we visit the Galileo Galilei planetarium, the place where our free guided tour of Palermo neighborhood finishes.
