Take our fantastic tour of the Ebro Delta and explore this beautiful corner of Spain in a people carrier vehicle. You will see wetlands, lagoons, and picturesque villages. You will also visit a wonderful stretch of beach surrounded by sea on both sides.
Ebro Delta Tour from Deltebre
We will meet up at the established time on Magallanes street in Deltebre. Then we will set off to explore the Ebro Delta on wheels. We will make the first stop at Ullals de Baltassar, where subterranean freshwater, coming from the mountains, rises to the Earth's surface.
Then, we will visit the two largest lagoons in the area: L'Encanyissada and La Tancada. You will learn all about how these pools evolved from one massive body of water, as you observe the wonderful birds and fish that inhabit this area. Then, we hop back in the vehicle and drive to one of the picturesque local villages: Poblenou del Delta.
We will stroll through the idyllic streets lined with traditional white houses, before reaching the town's Bell Tower. Also among the rice fields and farmhouses, we will see the iconic Tower of San Juan. Then we hit the road again and head to Trabucador beach, a stretch of golden sand that stretches out into the Mediterranean, forming the bay of Alfacs on one side.
Sometime between three and four hours after the tour has begun, we will finish back at the original point of departure.
