Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options. Every option includes hotel pickup and drop-off and an English-speaking guide. Please read the details for each tour below:

Cerro La Cruz Tour (2 Hours)

Fasten your seatbelt because it's time to go! Once on board the buggies, you'll feel the vibration of the engine as we set off toward the slopes of the Cerro La Cruz. Here, we'll drive uphill on winding dirt trails.

As we gain altitude, the landscapes will open up, revealing the lush vegetation of the region. We'll reach a spot where we'll leave our vehicle and continue on foot for a short stretch. Before you know it, we'll reach the viewpoint of Cerro La Cruz,  where we'll be welcomed by the vast El Valle de Antón.

From here, we'll take our time to admire the mountains framing the valley: the Cerro Gaital, Cerro Caracoral, and Cerro Cara Iguana. We'll make the most of our time to take pictures, breathe in the fresh air, and take in the beauty.

Lastly, we'll return to our buggies and begin our journey back to the town.

  • Schedule: this option operates daily at 4 pm

El Valle de Antón Tour (3 Hours)

Our buggy adventure along the streets of the town of El Valle de Antón will first take us to the El Níspero Zoo. Here, you'll visit a refuge of native animals, among which tropical birds, exotic amphibians, and mammals stand out.

We'll continue our tour in search of Chorro Macho, an overwhelming waterfall in the heart of the jungle. After enjoying the humidity and vegetation, we'll head to the artisanal market, where you'll find a wide variety of products made by local craftsmen.

Finally, we'll start our engines and set off to El Valle de Antón Visitors Center. We'll learn about the history and geological uniqueness of this town formed within the crater of an extinct volcano. Impressive, right?

  • Schedule: this option operates daily at 11 am

Cerro La Silla Tour (2 Hours)

On board our buggies, we'll depart from the town of El Valle de Antón to drive on winding nature trails on the slopes of Cerro La Silla. As we progress, the terrain will become increasingly uneven, and we'll begin the ascent.

We'll reach a strategic point where we'll park the buggies and start a hike toward one of the viewpoints of the hill. Once we reach it, we'll be rewarded with a beautiful scenic view of the entire valley. In the distance, the Pacific Ocean blends with the horizon, while the neighboring Cerro Gaital stands majestically.

You'll also be able to see the San Carlos Lagoon, hidden among the mountains. After enjoying this magical moment and taking pictures, we'll return to the buggies to start our journey back to the starting point.

  • Schedule: this option operates daily from 8 am to 2 pm
