Get to know the distilling process of Scotland's national drink, in a distillery and visit two of Glasgow's bars. What's more, you'll try five Single Malt whiskies, to delight your palate!
The tour meets on North Street to begin the tour which will take us around two of Glasgow's main bars to try the city's star product. With more than 100 distilleries distributed around its lands, Scotland is the home of whisky, with Glasgow an important centre of production!
Our first point of contact with the liquor will take place in a pub where we learn to drink Single Malt whisky like real Scots. The temperature, the environment, the glass... each detail is important. Wandering through the centre of Glasgow we will arrive at our second bar, where we will try a whisky from each region: you're sure to notice the difference!
Having tried two whiskies from the highlands and lowlands, we will continue our tour to a distillery, in the very heart of the city. In this centre of production, we'll get to know first hand the production of this coveted drink
We'll take a look at the distilling equipment and see the work of the artisans who make malt whisky each and every day, still using the traditional methods. What's more, through images and interactive panels we'll learn about the history of the industry in Glasgow.
Having drunk in too the views of the River Clyde from the distillery, we'll embark on a tasting of three whiskies, to finish the tour on a high note.
