Northern Lights Sighting from the Hamn Lighthouse

At the scheduled time, we'll see you in the reception of the Hamn i Senja Hotel. When you get there, we'll give you directions to the Hamn Lighthouse. Did you know that it's one of the best places on the island of Senja to see the Northern Lights?

You'll then have 3 hours at the lighthouse to admire incredible views of the Norwegian fjords and wait for the magical Northern Lights to appear.

This area lies just below one of Norway's main aurora borealis belts. From here, you can even see the colours of the northern lights reflected in the calm, icy Arctic waters.

While you wait for the lights to appear, you can have a hot drink at the lighthouse and watch as the colours of the Arctic shift with the light.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so although they can often be seen during the period this tour runs, we can't guarantee that you'll see them.
