Phillip Island Day Trip
If you love animals and want to see amazing Australian wildlife up close, then this is the tour for you. Meet koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and watch the incredible Penguin Parade on this day trip to Phillip Island.
Phillip Island Day Trip
After being picked up from your hotel in Melbourne, you'll set off on your way to Phillip Island, making a stop on the way at the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes. Admire the vibrant colours and artistic designs decorating the classic Victorian architecture.
Your next stop will be the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, a biopark dedicated to showcasing and conserving species of animals native to the area. As you learn all about iconic Australian fauna, you'll enjoy the incredible experience of meeting feisty Tasmanian Devils, hand-feeding kangaroos and wallabies, and cuddling koalas! To top it all off, you'll get to watch the amazing Conservation in Action wildlife show, where you'll hear all about lesser-known and threatened Australian species in an interactive presentation by expert rangers.
Heading on to Phillip Island itself, enjoy a stop at Point Grant and the Nobbies. This headland on the isle's western tip not only offers magnificent views over Westernport Bay and Bass Straight, but is also a viewpoint from which you'll have the unforgettable opportunity to watch Australia's largest colony of fur seals frolicking on Seal Rocks.
As the sun begins to set, you'll enjoy the finishing touch on this incredible wildlife-filled day: the famous Penguin Parade. Watch as the adorable little creatures appear on the water's edge and waddle up the beach to their burrows in the dunes.
Following the parade, you'll have free time to explore the Visitor Centre before heading back to Melbourne to be dropped off at your hotel.
