Mysteries and Legends Tour of Newcastle

His name is Black Jackie Johnson and he was feared by locals for his association with the occult, black magic, and the dark arts. His misdemeanors are the stuff of Newcastle folklore and legend. At the time of your choosing, we will begin our discovery of these harrowing stories at Grey's monument in the center of the city.

Our route through the scary side of Newcastle takes us to the junction of Dean Street and Mosley Street, which was the setting for some gruesome crimes. In this part of the city, you will also encounter the Cathedral of St Nicholas and the city's Castle. Inside these ancient monuments, you will be confronted with a horrifying past. Only a few are daring enough to investigate, but fortune rewards the brave.

We continue exploring the dark side of Newcastle in the district of Dog Bank and the Quayside walk on the banks of the river Tyne. In this part of the city, we will also hear about other mysteries and legends which feature infamous criminals, gangsters, and other shady characters from the city's murky past.

Our tour of Newcastle's mysteries and legends concludes at Blackett Street where even more gruesome facts about the city's dark past will be revealed.
