Free Walking Tour of Portimão
At 10:00 the tour meets in Praça Manuel Teixeira to start our guided tour of Portimão, to discover the most emblematic places in the Algarve's largest city.
Explore its historic center, which overlooks the estuary of the Arade river, and contemplate the city's most important sacred buildings, such as the Igreja Matriz or the Igreja do Colégio.
The tour then continues on to the "Ponte Velha", literally the "old bridge", and will explore together with an expert guide the so-called Riberinha area of Portimão: a lively urban area that lies along the river bank.
After an hour discovering Portimão's must-sees, the free walking tour comes to an end.
