Having picked you up from your selected meeting point, we'll leave the city behind and head east. As we drive through the Sierra Nevada we'll pass through ghost towns from the old west and the gold rush.
As we arrive at Yosemite we'll begin our tour of the National Park, visiting the giant sequoia forest (Tuolumne Grove), home to some of the biggest trees in the world. Here, surrounded by nature's beauty, we'll find the "Grizzly Giant" sequoia tree, one of the biggest in the world, with a trunk measuring up to 30 meters (98 feet)!
Our tour continues as we come to breathtaking spots like Inspiration Point (the park's best viewpoint), Half Dome (a granite rock formation, now emblem of the park), El Capitan (famous for its difficult climb), Yosemite Falls (North America's tallest waterfall), Bridalveil (another famous waterfall, worshipped by the Ahwahneechee people) and of course Yosemite Village (a small town in the middle of the park).
After our inclusive route, we'll give you some free time to enjoy lunch, walk a few trails, rent a bike, or even take a dip in the river.
Following some incredible hours spent in the nation's most famous National Park, we'll begin our return journey to San Francisco, arriving 15.5 hours later.
Itinerary Changes
Due to safety reasons, during the winter months and any other time throughout the year, inclement weather conditions may affect access to the sequoia forest. In the case of inclement weather, we'll adapt our route through the park to see first the waterfalls and Yosemite Park. Additionally, we'll visit Meadow Loop and Swinging Bridge.
