The Ayutthaya day trip was a pleasant way to spend the day. The temples are interesting, though they may feel less impressive if you have already visited sites like Angkor Wat. My only real critique is the pacing; the 30 to 40 minutes provided at each temple felt a bit hurried. I believe the tour would be much better if the itinerary allowed for a bit more time at each stop, giving visitors the chance to explore these historical sites at a more comfortable and thorough pace.
