Built in 1795, the Qasr Al Hosn Fort has become the symbol of Abu Dhabi, as it's the oldest building in the Emirati capital. Home to the ruling family, the seat of government, and even the national archive, this landmark has served a variety of purposes in its over 200 years of history. Venture inside and experience it for yourself!
With your tickets, you can visit the complex, both its 18th-century fortress and the palace annex from the 1930s. You'll have access to its museum to learn more about the history of this building, whose tower once played a key role in ensuring the safety of maritime trade routes.
As you explore the exhibition, you'll discover how Abu Dhabi has grown from a small settlement solely reliant on fishing and pearl farming to a full-fledged metropolis.
