The grand Qasr Al Watan, whose name means 'Palace of the Nation', opened its doors to the public in 2019. Until that time, the building couldn't be visited, as it was used exclusively for official meetings and as a residence for foreign leaders visiting the UAE.

By purchasing this ticket, you'll have access to this famous palace, which incidentally has become one of the most popular attractions in Abu Dhabi. During your visit, you can take a photo in the press room of the Qasr Al Watan, tour the library, see the meeting room of the Federal Supreme Council and admire the various diplomatic gifts that other countries have made to the Emirates over the years.

One of the areas that will surely capture your attention will be the great hall, a room located under the colossal dome of the Presidential Palace. Exquisitely decorated arches, gilded mosaics, and marble floors make the magnificence of this room quite a sight to behold.

Opening hours

The Qasr Al Watan Palace is open all year round at the following times:

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays: from 10 am to 6 pm
• Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: from 12 to 7 pm

The last entry to the palace is allowed until one hour before closing time.
