San Diego Fort Tour + Caleta and Caletilla Beaches
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Acapulco to take you to the Fort of San Diego, a 17th-century bastion built to protect the city from pirate attacks.
Just standing in front of its entrance, we'll see how impregnable this fortress was. We'll cross the drawbridge that rises over the moat to enter the fort and spend an hour visiting the Acapulco Historical Museum.
During the tour, we'll learn about the importance of this bastion in Mexico's history, since important episodes of the Mexican Independence and Revolution took place here. We'll see cannons, carriages, and other antique objects used in the battles!
After the visit to the fort, we'll walk to the House of Masks, where we'll see an exhibition of curious masks with indigenous motifs. Then, we'll continue walking to the Quebrada, where we'll enjoy fabulous views of the city.
Afterwards, we'll walk to Caleta and Caletilla beaches, two of the most famous beaches on the coast of Acapulco. Here, you'll have an hour of free time to enjoy the attractions of these beaches.
Finally, we'll get back on the bus to return to your hotel, where we'll drop you off after 6 hours of excursion.
