Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head over to a husky kennel, where we'll meet our companions for the day.
After greeting these faithful animals, we'll hop on board a sleigh that will take us on a very special route through the forest. Over the course of a five-kilometer ride, we'll explore the surroundings of Äkäslompolo while we admire the wintry landscapes of Lapland.
The sled will be shared between two adults who will alternate roles. One of them will be the driver while the other is seated, and then they'll switch.
Along the way, we'll learn all kinds of interesting facts about huskies, dogs typical of Nordic countries that are used to living at low temperatures. You'll be surprised by all the care they receive daily!
After a half-hour route through an extraordinary natural setting, we'll return to the kennel, where we'll warm up with a hot drink next to a cozy campfire.
Finally, the activity will come to an end as we drop you back off at your hotel after a total of about 2.5 hours.
