On this tour of the via ferrata of El Chorro we'll see Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Park and enjoy sliding down a zipline!
We'll meet at the restaurant La Garganta, which belongs to the village of El Chorro. From here we'll start a short walk, just 10 minutes, that will lead us to the starting point of the via ferrata.
We'll kit ourselves out with all the necessary equipment before going over the safety measures that you'll have to respect during the whole activity. Then it's time for the adventure to begin!
The via ferrata of El Chorro, located within the Natural Park of Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, offers adventure and amazing landscapes in equal parts. The route, which is intermediate-level of difficulty, includes a zip line, climbing and even a Tibetan bridge.
Accompanied by the guide at all times, we'll be climbing at a level of 820 feet (250 meters) enjoying views of the Tajo de la Encantada reservoir and the surrounding mountains. All this while we cross a suspension bridge, we'll jump through a 35-meter zip line (114 feet) and many other surprises along the way!
We'll finish the activity by saying goodbye at the starting point.
