Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time at the picturesque Pont des Amours overlooking the canal, from where we'll start a mouthwatering journey through the charming streets of Annecy. This guided food tour is perfect for savoring the authentic tastes of the Haute-Savoie region. Let's go!
Our first stop is a neighborhood favorite where we'll sample a selection of local charcuterie. Each sample of cured meat will be paired with a glass of regional wine—the perfect palate opener for what's sure to be an exciting tour full of flavor.
No trip to any French region would be complete without tasting the area's traditional dishes. Next up on our route through the historic center, we'll sample the tartiflette, a signature Savoyard dish made of tender potatoes, smoky lardons, and gooey Reblochon cheese. Fun fact: did you know cheese in particular plays an important role in Savoy culture? We'll learn why!
With savory flavors behind us, we’ll turn to the city's sweeter side. Annecy is known for its quaint little patisseries, or bakeries, and we'll pop into a local shop to indulge in some of the finest pastries in town! Our guide will share with us meaningful insights into the skill and creativity that goes into each sweet treat.
We'll then head into some of the city's newer areas and, last but not least, we'll visit one of Annecy's most beloved chocolate shops—any chocolate lover's dream come true! Here, we'll sample a variety of artisan chocolates, ending our tour on the sweetest note.
After 3 to 3.5 hours, and with full stomachs, we'll say goodbye in front of the Bonlieu.
