"I dream my painting and paint my dream." To discover more about Van Gogh's time in Provence, we'll meet at the indicated time at 41 Cours Jean Jaurès.
We'll start the day traveling to Arlés. Here, we'll go on a walking tour of its historic center and see the legendary Café Van Gogh, whose entrance was painted by the artist in his famous post-impressionist work Café Terrace at Night. We'll also
You'll then have 30 minutes of free time. On Saturdays, you can visit the popular weekly market in Arles. After discovering the town, we'll continue the tour and stop at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to take pictures, where Van Gogh painted his famous work of art, The Starry Night, in his sanatorium. In this village, we'll visit the recreation of Van Gogh's old room. It'll be a very special moment!
Later, we'll set off to Saint-Paul de Mausole, where Van Gogh was admitted to a hospital for the mentally ill. We'll learn about this place and its influence on the creation of the painter's most important works.
To complete the tour, we'll visit the room that recreates the artist's hospital room.
Finally, we'll make our way back to Avignon, where arrival is expected at the starting point 5 hours after the start of the activity.
