Valle de Calingasta Private Tour and Wine Tasting
After picking you up at your hotel in Barreal at the scheduled time, we will leave for the Calingasta Valley: famous for its world-class wines.
Our first stop is the Entre Tapias winery, where we will explore all its facilities. Then we will set off to the Alta Bonanza de Los Andes winery in the Andes. Next to its barrels, we will enjoy a tasting of local wines while an expert teaches us to distinguish their different nuances of aroma, color, and taste - a real treat for the senses!
In addition, the Calingasta Valley also stands out for its landscapes. To prove it, we will continue the trip to the famous Hill of Seven Colors and the Alcazar hill. We will also visit the nearby ruins of Hilario, which will allow us to better understand the mining history of the province of San Juan.
The route will continue in the city of Calingasta, where we stop to contemplate its famous Christ of Mercy statue. You will be amazed by the colossal dimensions of this sculpture, which reaches 100 ft high. Once you have captured this wonderful sight on camera, we will continue southwards for a brief tour of the historic center of Tamberías, one of the most beautiful towns in the valley!
On the way back to Barreal, we will stop halfway to regain our strength with a light snack of traditional local products. Finally, we will arrive back at your hotel four hours after we set off.
