Visit the most pristine corners of the Dominican Republic with this tour of the beaches of Saona Island. You'll love it!
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up and hit the road to the Bayahibe pier, where we'll get on a boat to travel to Saona Island.
During the cruise there, we'll make a stop at Palmilla beach, a dreamy spot located in the middle of Cotubanamá National Park. Then, we'll arrive at Saona Island, where you'll have free time until lunch.
When we'll feeling peckish, we'll head to the fishing village of Mano Juan to enjoy a traditional seaside menu featuring a variety of local specialities. Enjoy your meal!
Feeling refuelled, we'll go to the sea turtle conservation centre, where we'll see the incubation process and the care of these species.
Then, we'll visit Los Flamencos beach to enjoy this stretch of endemic vegetation bathed by the Caribbean Sea. Afterwards, we'll get back on the boat to explore the surrounding mangrove areas.
During the trip, you'll see schools of tropical fish and other marine species. You can even swim to see the area's starfish! Being very careful, of course, not to touch them or disturb their habitat.
To end the experience, we'll have a toast with a famous Dominican rum. Afterwards, we'll take you back to the meeting point and arrive after a total of between 8 and 11.5 hours.
