Coffee Tour of Coatepec
Between 9 am and 9:20 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Boca del Río, from where we will head to the city of Coatepec.
The first stop of the day will be at a coffee farm to learn all about the origin of the drink. We will learn how the fruit seeds are collected and then roasted, and you will see the whole process it follows until arriving in our homes.
Then we will visit the old Café Bola de Oro mill, which has been a market leader for more than 40 years. Here, we will also learn about the machinery involved in the production process has evolved over history.
Throughout the day, we will also participate in a coffee tasting where you will learn to differentiate the nuances, aromas, and flavors, of the different types of beans. To conclude this fantastic experience, we will visit the Pacho Nuevo hacienda, also known as the hacienda of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios.
After this last visit, we will return to the minibus and take you back to your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 pm and 8:30 pm.
