Saint-Emilion Day Trip
Make the most of your time in Bordeaux to discover a small picturesque medieval village in the Gironde which is world-famous for its wines with this Saint-Emilion Day Trip.
Saint-Emilion Day Trip
We'll meet at 9 am in front of the Bordeaux Tourist Office to board the minibus that will take you to Saint-Emilion. On the way, the guide will give you a lot of information about the region and its wines.
After a 40-minute drive, you'll arrive in the charming village of Saint-Émilion where you'll enjoy a guided tour through the narrow streets of its medieval city. Did you know that its historic centre dates back to the 9th century and that it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? Being situated on top of a hill, Saint-Émilion offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards.
You'll then go to a magnificent château, Grand Cru Classé, on the outskirts of the village. You'll be greeted with a glass of white wine before setting off to explore this wine estate. Here you can enjoy a walk through the vineyards, visit the cellars and learn about the wine-making process from grape to bottle. Finally, you'll taste two of the estate's wines inside the chateau, accompanied by local products such as bread, cheese, charcuterie, chocolate... You'll love it!
Finally, you'll board the vehicle to return to Bordeaux arriving at around 1 pm.
