If you love reindeer, look no further! On our Breiðdalsvík Valley Reindeer Safari, you'll explore the only place in Iceland where these beautiful animals reside.
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Breiðdalsvík and hop in a jeep. We'll set off towards the forests in East Iceland to see the incredible wildlife that inhabits this part of the country.
During this unique safari through the Breiðdalsvík Valley, we'll see the wild reindeer that live in East Iceland, which is the only part the country where wild reindeer are found. We'll explore the scenic valleys that these magnificent animals roam when in search of food - don't forget your camera!
We'll spend 4 hours travelling through unforgettable landscapes while learning lots of fascinating information about the reindeer. As we drive the jeep through the valleys and forests, we'll discuss how the reindeer arrived in Iceland at the end of the 18th century and adapted to the unique local climate.
It'll then be time to drop you back at your hotel, where we'll finish the activity.
