We'll pick you up from your hotel in Bukhara at the indicated time and board a minibus to start this 2-day tour of the Kyzyl Kum desert. Did you know that its name means "red sand" in Uzbek? We'll reveal other interesting facts along the way.
After a 4 hour drive, we'll reach the first stop of the tour: Nurata. This ancient Uzbek city has centuries of history, which we'll discover by touring the famous Chashma complex, dating back to the 4th century BC. We'll also visit the Juma Mosque, the ancient Panjvaqta Mosque and the Nurata Arab Baths.
The next stop will be at a yurt camp in the Kyzyl Kym desert, where you can bathe in Lake Aidar. We'll recover our strength with a delicious traditional dinner and attend a typical desert folklore show. Afterwards, we'll retire to the yurts to rest.
Day 2: Kyzyl Kum - Samarkand - Bukhara
After spending the night like true Central Asian nomads, we'll have breakfast while enjoying a unique sunrise in the desert, simply the best way to make your Kyzyl Kum memories last.
