Hop into a kayak, grab an oar and enjoy a breathtaking trip through nature on our Yasica River Kayak Tour. One of the most beautiful inland areas of the Dominican Republic awaits!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the town of El Cibao that you selected, ready to set off on an exciting kayaking adventure in the Yasica River.
During our journey, we'll make a brief stop in the community of Nuestra Señora del Carmen to learn about some local customs and how Dominican rodaos (a type of biscuit) are made.
Afterwards, we'll head to the banks of the Yasica River. Once we've arrived, we'll row downstream to explore its hidden treasures.
We'll see centuries-old trees, sandbanks and crystal-clear water pools. Halfway through our tour, we'll stop to have a snack of locally produced cheese and a tasty rodao. After taking a break, we'll continue kayaking round the twists and turns of the Yasica River.
It'll then be time for a spot of lunch, so at midday we'll return to the local community to have a traditional Dominican lunch of beans and rice.
Having eaten a delicious lunch, we'll start our return journey to the starting point, where we'll be due to arrive between 5 and 10 hours later.
