Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two different tour options. Both include pickup at your hotel in Cartagena or Barranquilla, return transportation, an English-speaking guide, and admission to Tayrona National Natural Park.
Hiking Tour
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll head to Tayrona National Park, a protected area with more than 300 species of marine flora, 770 varieties of terrestrial plants, and home to the jaguar. This green space has it all!
Upon arrival, we'll begin an interesting 2 to 3-hour hike along ecological trails surrounded by tropical rainforest. Our route will take us to Arrecifes, where we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea from a viewpoint that is ideal for taking photos. If you prefer not to walk, you also have the option of hiring a horse on your own to enjoy the journey in a different way.
We'll continue on to the Natural Pool, a perfect beach to rest and take a break before continuing on to our destination: the famous Cabo San Juan beach. There you will have between 4 and 6 hours of free time to swim, relax under the palm trees, stroll along the white sand, and have lunch on your own at the local restaurant.
Later, we'll begin the return journey along the same trail and finally take you back to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye 14 or 19 hours after picking you up.
Boat Tour
Once we arrive at Tayrona National Park, we'll head to the Siete Olas viewpoint, where we'll have a privileged view of Brava Beach and its rolling waves.
Next, we'll go to Neguanje BayNeguanje to board a boat that will take us to the famous Crystal Beach in just 10 minutes. There you'll have 8 hours of free time to relax, sunbathe, and have lunch on your own at one of the local beach restaurants.
Finally, we'll return by boat to Neguanje and from there we'll begin the journey back to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye between 14 and 18 hours later.
Pickup
When booking, you must indicate whether you want to start the tour from Cartagena or Barranquilla. Pickup will take place at the following times:
- Tours from Cartagena at 3 am
- Tours from Barranquilla at 5 am
Please note that each journey from Cartagena to Tayrona Park takes approximately 4.5 hours, while from Barranquilla the road trip takes around 2 hours.
