Fátima, Óbidos, & Nazaré Day Trip
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to set off for some of the most devout and historic places in Portugal.
Our first stop will be Óbidos, a walled city that will take you back to the past. There, we'll stroll through its cobbled streets and see traditional houses and the imposing medieval castle. Top tip: don't leave without tasting the typical ginjinha d'Obidos, a sweet liqueur served in a small glass.
After an hour in Óbidos, we'll head to Sítio, a historic and picturesque neighborhood perched atop a towering cliff in Nazaré. We'll then head to Nazaré, where we'll explore this charming fishing village that has now become a hotspot for water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers. Can you guess why? Its huge waves will give you a clue!
Lastly, after giving you some free time to have lunch at a local restaurant, we'll continue toward the Sanctuary of Fátima, a neo-Baroque building steeped in religious tradition. Did you know it's the country's most important pilgrimage site? It's one of the most significant Marian shrines in the world!
Finally, after 11 hours of enjoying all of these wonders of Portugal, we'll end the tour at your hotel.
