If you'd like to see Chicago from above, booking these tickets for the Centennial Wheel will allow you to enjoy one of the Windy City's most famous attractions.
Centennial Wheel Chicago
Would you like to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Chicago? We recommend doing so from the Centennial Wheel, one of the city's most iconic attractions. Located on the historic Navy Pier, this Ferris wheel has become one of the skyline’s most recognizable landmarks, a circular beacon that turns slowly above Lake Michigan.
During the ride, the Centennial Wheel will lift you to a height of almost 60 m (196 ft), completing three full revolutions in a total of between 15 to 20 minutes. Its cabins, which can hold up to 8 people, are fully enclosed and air-conditioned. It also features a high-strength steel structure, a silent drive system and a state-of-the-art design.
From the very top, you’ll have the city at your feet, with the skyscrapers of the Loop taking centre stage. As night falls, the charm is amplified, as the Ferris wheel is illuminated with LED lights, becoming a true visual landmark for the city.
This is undoubtedly a fantastic opportunity to discover the Windy City in a different and fun way that will appeal to both adults and children alike. You’re sure to fall in love with the Chicago skyline!
Fireworks at Navy Pier
From May 24 to August 30, 2026, the Centennial Wheel experience becomes even more magical as night falls. Every Wednesday at 9 pm and Saturday at 10 pm, the Chicago sky lights up with a fireworks display over Lake Michigan, which you can see perfectly from the Ferris wheel.
Opening Hours
The Centennial Wheel is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm.
