Travel back in time and experience the rural way of life in 17th and 18th century Menorca when you visit the Binissuès Farm and Manor house.
What to expect at Binissuès
Discover how rural families and the nobility lived hundreds of years ago in Menorca. Located in a beautiful, remote spot on the island, this elegant estate offers you an authentic experience of both an 18th-century 'Payesa' house and a 19th century Manor House.
You will taste a bygone way of life on the traditional "lloc" farm, helping a real 'payeses' family to sow wheat, look after the animals, and make the famous Mahón cheese.
Besides visiting the 18th-century Farmhouse, you will also explore a 19th-century Manor House, where you will discover perfectly preserved rooms as they were centuries ago.
Binissuès is also home to different museums, such as the Ethnological Collection of everyday tools and utensils, and the Natural Science Museum of Menorca which exhibits more than 8,000 species from the island and around the world.
