At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the Colón cruise terminal and set off on an adrenaline pumping adventure tour through María Chiquita.
Our journey begins with the trip to the Granja Campo y Aventura family project, where you'll have an array of activities to choose from. First up, we'll take a hiking route through the rainforest that will reveal the secrets of the ecosystem of this coastal region.
Of the many activities available, we have the option to visit an agricultural farm to see local production processes up close. We'll tour the traditional crops and learn about the sustainable practices that keep the local economy alive.
One of the highlights of the day will be a visit to an animal sanctuary, where we'll learn about the conservation efforts of some local animals in the area.
Afterward, water lovers can opt to paddle and kayak on the Piedra River and Gatun Lake, gliding through the gentle waters surrounded by vegetation and schools of birds. If you prefer solid ground, you can also opt for a horseback ride along the nature trails through the dense vegetation.
Still not enough of an adrenaline rush? Try your hand at sliding down the Maria Chiquita zip line. Soar over the treetops, enjoying a unique bird's eye view at a whopping 75 meters (246 ft) high. Take on 6 different zip lines, each offering spectacular views and the ultimate dose of adrenaline.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4.5 hours.
