At 8 am we'll be ready to pick you up from your hotel in Copán Ruinas to begin one of the most fun and unforgettable adventures of your stay, a great day out for all ages!
First of all, we'll go into the history of the region by visiting the Copán Archaeological Park. Did you know that centuries ago this area was the capital of an important Mayan kingdom? This is why we can find many traces of this ancient civilization inside, and not even 10% of what these valleys hide has been discovered yet!
After four hours exploring the secrets of the Mayan culture, we'll get back into the minibus and set off for Macaw Mountain. Here we'll find an impressive Bird Park where they not only protect them from poaching but also help them to breed and recover from injuries - There are all types of bird, of every colour and size.
At the Macaw Bird Park, you'll also have the opportunity to feed the park's fauna - it'll be a unique experience! Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Copán Ruinas and arrive there at 3.30 pm.
