Do you want to visit the main attractions of Cordoba in an exclusive way? If so, at the indicated time, we'll meet at the Puerta del Puente and start a complete private tour, including tickets to the Mosque of Cordoba and the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos!
To begin with, we'll head to the Mosque-Cathedral, the jewel par excellence of Cordoba. We'll travel back in time to discover its foundational construction and its evolution through the different extensions it was subjected to by emirs and caliphs until the last additions during the Christian period.
Firstly, we'll cross the Courtyard of Oranges and enter the Mosque of Abd-al Rahman I and Abd-al Rahman II. Once inside, we'll approach the Mihrab and gaze up at its huge golden dome. Of course, we'll stroll through the emblematic Forest of Columns. We won't leave a corner of this World Heritage monument will be undiscovered!
Once our visit to the Mosque of Cordoba is over, we'll walk through the historic centre of the Andalusian city to discover its picturesque and beautiful squares and narrow streets. The famous Calle de las Flores, the Calle de la Hoguera, the Plaza del Zoco, the Plaza de Maimonides, the Roman Bridge... You'll want to take pictures of everything!
We'll also stroll through the Jewish Quarter, one of the most beautiful areas of the city, where we'll take a trip back in time to learn about another of the important cultures that inhabited Cordoba between the 10th and 15th centuries.
Finally, we'll enter the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, an ancient 14th century fortress that served as the seat of the kings in the city. We'll visit its different rooms and its beautiful gardens, full of colour and architectural details that will amaze you.
After between 3.5 and 4 hours, we'll say goodbye at the exit of the Alcazar.
Partial Closures
Due to structural reforms inside the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, access to the rooms that are under construction will not be permitted until further notice. As an alternative, we'll explore its historic gardens and the Christopher Columbus monolith. As well as that, we'll complete the experience with a visit to the Baths of the Caliphate Alcazar, a unique space that reflects the splendour of the Caliphate's past.
