We'll begin our adventure after picking you up from your hotel in David, from where we'll head to the boarding area.
There, we'll hop into the kayaks and have a quick introduction about the route. Ready to explore one of the biggest mangrove forests in Panama?
We'll being to paddle and, as we move through the water, we'll find ourselves surrounded by a green landscape. We'll admire how the intertwined roots emerge from the water, creating the perfect habitat for a variety of birds and reptiles. If we're lucky, we'll see kingfishers, herons and sea turtles among the vegetation.
During a 2.5-hour kayak tour, we'll witness the richness of this ecosystem, vital for the oceans. The coast of Chiriquí is home to the second-largest extension of mangroves in the country. In addition, its proximity to the coral reefs of the Pacific gives it great importance, and its exotic and abundant vegetation is a clear example of this!
Finally, upon returning to the mainland, we'll return to David, where we'll drop you off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
