Get your adrenaline pumping with this rafting experience on the Animas River. You'll live an exciting adventure in the white waters of Durango.
When booking, you can choose between the following options. Both begin at the 360 S Camino Del Rio Suite #200 in Durango and include transportation, rafting equipment and an English-speaking instructor who will accompany you throughout the experience. Below, you can see the details of each option.
Once we're all together, we'll hop into an off-roading vehicle and drive to the Animas River. There, we'll tell you some basic safety recommendations to make sure the experience runs smoothly.
When we're ready, we'll get into the rafts and... into the water! For approximately 15 minutes, we'll go through the rapids of the Animas River, one of the most emblematic rivers in Colorado, where you'll experience an adventure like no other.
Along the way, we'll take on class I, II and III rapids, perfect to enjoy the thrill that Durango's water offers us. We'll also pass through some of the most beautiful places in the area.
Once on dry land, we'll dry off, reflect on the experience with the rest of the group and head back to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye 2.5 hours later.
Would you like to spend more time in the water? This option is for you! If you opt for the 4.5-hour activity, you'll enjoy a rafting experience on the Animas River for 2.5 hours. This way, you'll have a longer trip through the waters of Durango.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point 4.5 hours later.
Although children aged 3-11 years can participate in this experience, they must always be accompanied by an adult.
