On this private day trip to the Bambarakanda Falls, we'll take you to visit the tallest and some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. The perfect route for connecting with nature!
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Ella and take you to the town’s train station.
Once there, we’ll board a train for a 1-hour ride to Haputale, in the heart of the jungle. From there, we’ll take a 45-minute drive to the Bambarakanda Falls. Did you know they’re the tallest in the country? They’re 263 meters high (863 ft).
Afterward, we’ll take a 30-minute hike to the Lanka Falls. There, you’ll have free time to take a refreshing dip and enjoy the surroundings.
Next, we’ll hike back to a local restaurant, where we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch overlooking the area’s rice paddies.
After refueling, we’ll drive to Ella. We’re scheduled to arrive at your hotel 8.5 hours after pickup.
