This transport service to the Balata Garden allows you to travel comfortably to Martinique's great botanical jewel from Fort-de-France.
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time. at the meeting point in Fort-de-France that you will have chosen, and then make our way north towards one of the most visited places in Martinique.
First, we'll make a brief stop at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, a temple built in 1925 whose architecture is inspired by that of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We'll stop in front of the façade so that you can take pictures of this beautiful monument, which, unlike its Parisian twin, is surrounded by a jungle landscape.
Next, we'll continue towards the Balata Botanical Garden, which you'll be able to visit at your own pace. This immense orchard of nearly 3 hectares will allow you to admire more than 3000 different types of plants and trees, in particular the tropical species.
The garden also contains an impressive collection of orchids and other colourful and aromatic flowers that will surely surprise you! The trails in this botanical space are also perfect for walking and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
Finally, after approximately an hour of free time in the garden, we'll meet again at the main entrance and make our way back to the different meeting points. Arrival back at Fort-de-France is expected to be around 2.5 hours after the initial pickup time.
