Feel the adrenaline rushing through your veins on this guided tour to the top of the viewpoint Cabo Girão. Enjoy the panoramic view across Funchal and contemplate the ground beneath your feet thanks to its glass skywalk. Complete you trip by trying the Poncha and other traditional Portuguese drinks.
A vertical drop of 500 metres, steep slopes and dizzying views. Cabo Girão is an essential stop on any tour of Madeira. When you reach the summit, you will understand why it was worth the effort.
Once at the viewpoint, you can enjoy an incredible panorama of Madeira with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. And if you want to experience true vertigo, don't miss the glass walkway at the highest point of Girão. The dramatic views and sheer drop will make you feel alive.
We continue our excursion to Boca da Corrida viewpoint, to contemplate Curral das Freiras, the valley of the monks. Its privileged location provides a spectacular panorama of all the mountains that surround it. In this natural wilderness, all sense of time is lost.
At Câmara de Lobos we experience the maritime side of Madeira. It is an old fishing village where the sea plays an important role. Prepare your camera and keep you eyes peeled because you will love this colourful place.
This area is known for its traditional taverns and wine cellars and, of course, no trip would be complete without visiting one to taste the island's traditional wine. This isn’t a typical wine, but a fortified wine, prepared in a variety of styles ranging from dry wines which can be consumed alone as an appetizer, through to sweet wines, which are generally consumed as a dessert.
You also have the opportunity to try the fisherman’s Poncha. This traditional Madeiran drink is made with some very distinctive ingredients which will sweeten your palate and put the finishing touch to our trip.
Once you have enjoyed the visit (and our final tasting) we will take you back to the same pick-up location.
