On this free tour of Tlaquepaque, we'll immerse ourselves in a place full of art, music, and traditional Mexican culture. Come and fall in love with this Pueblo Mágico!
At the designated time, we'll meet at Hostal Hospedarte Centro, in the heart of Guadalajara, to take the metro together to the centre of Tlaquepaque. On this tour, you'll discover why this Pueblo Mágico (magical village) is considered one of the most authentic spots of Mexican culture.
We'll stroll down the beautiful village streets, learning about its colonial past and its connections to sculpting and pottery-making. Our first stop will be El Parián, considered the biggest cantine in the country, where you'll be immersed in a world of tequila, mariachi music, and the vibrant spirit of a Mexican fiesta. You'll be blown away!
Additionally, we'll visit different galleries that feature everything from sacred pieces to contemporary Mexican surrealist artwork. Each spot will, without a doubt, charm you with its history and creativity.
After almost 2 hours, this free tour will come to an end at a Mexican sweets workshop. Here, as well as learning about the elaboration process behind these treats, you'll also have the chance to do a tasting a selection of local products from the region.
This free tour does not allow groups of more than 6 people, even if they are booked separately.
