Guayaquil Private Tour
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guayaquil and take you to the historical center of the city, one of the most beautiful destinations in Ecuador.
We'll begin our private tour in Centennial Park (Parque Centenario), where we'll learn about the history of its great Column of the Próceres. The monument, sculpted by Spanish artist Agustín Querol y Subirats, pays homage to the figures who achieved Ecuador's independence in 1820.
Afterward, we'll stroll along Avenida 9 de Octubre until we reach Plaza de San Francisco. From there we'll make our way to the esplanade of Seminario Park, famous for its iguana population. In this park, we'll also check out the façade of the neo-Gothic Metropolitan Cathedral of Guayaquil.
The walking tour of the old town will continue at Plaza de la Administración, located near the famous Clock Tower. After admiring this unique vantage point, we'll head to the Hemicycle of the Rotonda, an iconic monument representing the meeting between Simón Bolívar and José de San Martín, who convened in Guayaquil in 1822 to discuss the independence of the South American states.
The next stop will be at the viewpoint of the Las Peñas Lighthouse. After enjoying the views we'll go down to the port of Santa Ana, and then return to your hotel in Guayaquil, three hours after pickup.
