Enjoy a unique experience when you travel to Puerto Morro, a quiet mangrove area where you will see the famous bottlenose dolphins at close range.
Trip to Puerto El Morro with Dolphin Watching
At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at Isidro Ayora Cueva Avenue and head south towards Puerto El Morro, a peaceful mangrove area only 90 minutes from Guayaquil.
Once there, we will board the boats to sail through this protected area of more than 10,000 hectares. During the trip, we will talk about the incredible biodiversity of the environment around us. Among the most striking birds that we will find in El Morro are frigates, pelicans, and pink herons.
Also, during the boat ride through the mangrove, we will see the famous bottlenose dolphins. You will find out why they have this curious name. It is quite common for herds of dolphins to swim alongside the boats, so you will have the opportunity to see these magnificent cetaceans from a very short distance.
Afterward, we will return to the mainland and you will have some free time to visit the handicraft stores in Puerto El Morro. In the afternoon, we will return to Guayaquil, where the arrival is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
