At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Gullfoss Cafe parking lot. Are you ready to experience a thrilling adventure in the Langjökull glacier?
We'll hop on a monster truck specially designed to cross glaciers. We'll head to the Langjökull glacier, a place that houses ice caves and tunnels that'll leave you speechless.
Before getting to know its interior, we'll get ready to explore its exterior in an unforgettable way – our snowmobiles await! We'll equip ourselves with everything necessary to enjoy this activity and, after listening to the basic instructions, we'll drive the snowmobiles.
Then, we'll explore the surroundings of the Langjökull glacier, admiring the rocky mountains that were formed as a result of the lava expelled by the volcano centuries ago. Halfway into the snowmobile experience, we'll put our feet back on the ground and enter the ice tunnels of the cave.
As we venture deeper into the glacier, we'll discover the secrets of this impressive work of engineering more than 300 meters deep. What's more, we'll see the blue ice so characteristic of the floor, ceiling, and walls of the Langjökull cave.
Lastly, we'll return to the truck on the snowmobiles. The truck will then leave us back at the starting point after a 4-hour tour.
The visit inside the cave will take place as long as the weather conditions are ideal. If this isn't possible, you'll have more time on the snowmobile.
