At the appointed time we'll meet at the Andrés de Cáceres square, where we'll start this free tour of Icod de los Vinos, the perfect place to start discovering this beautiful town in Tenerife!

Despite its size, Icod de los Vinos became one of the most important centres of Tenerife after the conquest of the island by Alonso Fernández de Lugo. Throughout the tour, we'll tell you lots of interesting facts about its history.

We'll walk through the old town of Icod de los Vinos, contemplating the Matriz de San Marcos church, the ex-convent of San Francisco and the Emeterio Gutiérrez Albelo House Museum, among many other points of interest. We'll also reveal some details of the culture of the municipality, such as the Tablas de Icod, one of its great festivals.

We'll continue to discover the rich historical, patrimonial and artistic legacy of the town by visiting the Casa del Inquisidor, the Plaza de la Pila and the Calle de San Agustín.
