Jungfraujoch Glacier Trip
Visit the mountain pass of Jungfraujoch, considered the peak of Europe and declared a World Heritage Site.
Jungfraujoch Glacier Trip
We'll meet at 10:45 am at Höheweg, 95. From this central address in Interlaken, we'll travel by bus to the Alpine village of Grindelwald, situated at an altitude of 1,034 metres.
Once in Grindelwald, we'll begin the ascent by Eiger Express cable car to the Glacier Eiger station. From there, we'll set off on a rack train ride to Jungfraujoch, the highest summit in Europe.
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Jungfraujoch offers an impressive panorama of the famous three peaks: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. When we reach the top, we'll enjoy the Alpine Sensation show.
Weather permitting, you'll also be able to admire views from the Sphinx observatory and the Plateau viewpoint, from which you can see the neighbouring countries and the Aletsch Glacier. This spectacular glacier is well-known for being the longest glacier in Europe. In addition, you can explore the tunnels of the Ice Palace - a unique experience!
After spending approximately 2 hours 30 minutes of free time atop Jungfraujoch, we'll return by rack train to Lauterbrunnen. We'll take the bus from there back to Interlaken, where we'll arrive at 5:45 pm.
