Trip Details

Day 1: Juan José Castelli – El Impenetrable National Park

We'll pick you up from your hotel and travel to El Impenetrable National Park in the northeast of Argentina's Chaco province. Ready to discover one of the most stunning spots in the region? It's the perfect destination for ecotourism and adventure lovers!

We'll travel by minibus for approximately 1.5 hours to the glamping site where we'll spend the night. Once you've settled in and dropped off your luggage, we'll sit down for a typical lunch at a local family's home. The best possible start to this cultural immersion!

Refreshed and ready, we'll hop back in the vehicles and head into El Impenetrable National Park, home to thousands of hectares of unique biodiversity in the heart of the Gran Chaco. We'll learn about the distinctive features of this part of northern Argentina and make several stops along the way to take in and photograph its beauty.

Next, we'll set off on an unforgettable hike along the trails of El Impenetrable. Did you know this is one of the best places in the world to spot large mammals and up to 160 species of birds? We'll also walk alongside the Bermejito River, one of the park's most special natural features.

As the sun sets, we'll head back to the glamping site, where you can have dinner at your own expense nearby and rest after a full day immersed in nature and local culture.

Day 2: El Impenetrable National Park – Juan José Castelli

We'll start the morning with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a second hike through El Impenetrable National Park, this time along different trails from the day before, taking in new landscapes always framed by the Bermejito River.

Afterwards, we'll return to the glamping site for a delicious lunch of regional products and dishes, including hand-cut meat empanadas, goat meat dishes, and squash.

With that great taste still lingering, we'll check out and set off back toward Juan José Castelli. Before the day is done, we'll stop in Miraflores to visit the Qom community, where a workshop visit will give you a glimpse of the remarkable work of their artisans.

We'll then take you back to your hotel, arriving at around 7 pm.
