At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kandy to start this 2-day adventure in which we'll visit some of the most important historical sites in the country.
First, we'll visit Sri Muthumari Amman, the highest and most colorful Hindu temple in Sri Lanka. Then, we'll head to Dambulla to visit its famous Cave Temple, where you can find a total of 153 statues and murals of Buddha.
Last but not least, we'll visit Sigiriya, an impressive archaeological site housing the ruins of an ancient palace complex built during the reign of Kasyapa. But beware of the lion's claws! You'll have to dodge them to get to the top of this imposing rock in the middle of the jungle.
