Early in the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Kemer and head towards one of the most fascinating regions of Turkey. Ready to visit Cappadocia? Let's go!
We'll travel through the Taurus Mountains, a fascinating environment at an altitude of over 1800 meters (5,900 ft) above sea level from where we'll have breathtaking views of the peculiar rock formations that characterize Cappadocia.
The first stop of the day will be in the subway city of Saratli. Did you know that it was built by Christian communities to protect themselves from Arab invasions? We'll learn all about the history of the place while exploring its narrow streets, buried houses and fortresses, and even a church!
Afterward, we'll stop for about an hour so you can have lunch at a nearby restaurant. With our batteries recharged, we'll continue our tour of Cappadocia at the Open Air Museum of Göreme, full of churches and chapels carved into the rock.
Finally, around 4:30 pm, we'll arrive at the hotel where we'll stay. From then on, you'll have the evening free to rest and have dinner.
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll start our second day in Cappadocia, heading to a place full of magic. We'll visit the famous Fairy Chimneys!
First, we'll travel along the Devrent Valley, where we'll start admiring these huge rocks with the most amazing structures. Then, we'll go to the valley of the Monks, in Pasabag, where we'll enjoy the most iconic scenery. We'll see these curious rock formations and learn all about their history, from how they were built to their usefulness, both in the past and in the present.
Next, we'll continue our route through Cappadocia, entering the Valley of Love. Along the way, we'll learn why this space earned its unique name!
After the tour, we'll stop for lunch and a short break. With newfound energy, we'll continue exploring the landscapes of Cappadocia, a place that's sure to captivate you!
Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Kemer late in the evening, around 8 pm.
