Enjoy a day full of adventure with this La Soufriere volcano hike. You'll explore the impressive area along a trekking route around this active volcano.
At 9:00 am we'll meet at the Kingstown cruise terminal, and board a bus to the La Soufriere volcano. After an hour crossing Arnos Vale and Calliaqua, we'll arrive in the vicinity of the volcano. To ensure we take in every detail, we'll have a guide throughout the tour.
We'll walk along the route for approximately four hours, and around 15 kilometres (9 miles) while we take a close look at this active volcano, whose last eruption dates back to 1979. The route will take us east to the crater, specifically along the Rabacca trail. The clouds will take over our surroundings, leaving us with an unforgettable view of the crater.
There will be stops along the way so that you can contemplate the abundant plant life that grows along the entire path. Then we'll return to the bus, which will take us back to Kingstown, arriving at 3 pm.
This tour is aimed at cruise passengers and we try to balance schedules with cruises. However, it is important that you check your cruise's arrival and departure times from the port, as well as the duration of the excursion to ensure that you have time to take the tour.
