Two of Bolivia's unmissable sights await on our 3-day tour to Uyuni & Death Road from La Paz. You'll admire these breathtaking natural wonders and take incredible photos on this unforgettable trip.
Between 7:30 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in La Paz and take you to the famous Death Road by bus. When we arrive, you'll feel an incredible adrenaline rush as this road is considered one of the most dangerous in the world. Don't worry, we've got it all under control!
To make our trip even more fun, we'll start cycling and stop at the most breathtaking viewpoints along Death Road. From these viewpoints, you'll look out at incredible places such as Devil's Tail, the corner of the Martyrs of Democracy and the Alley of the Clavicle.
After an exciting cycling tour, we'll return to La Paz. We'll board a different bus and spend the night driving to Uyuni.
Rise and shine! At around 7 am, we'll arrive in Uyuni. Once we've arrived, a guide will take us to a local café for breakfast. We'll then travel to the Uyuni Salt Flat, which is one of Bolivia's most fascinating natural monuments.
Before we reach our destination, we'll make a stop at a train cemetery. Here, we'll see the remains of locomotives from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. We'll also visit Colchani, which is the perfect place to learn about this region's salt production process.
Next, we'll visit the Dakar monument, the Playa Blanca salt hotel (everything's made of salt!), and Incahuasi Island, whose name in Quechua means "the house of the Inca". This island sits in the heart of the Uyuni Salt Flat and boasts enormous cacti, some of which reach a height of 33 feet (10 metres).
At 7:30 pm, it'll be time to return to the bus and drive back to La Paz.
After driving all night, we'll arrive in La Paz at 6:30 am.
