Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at Constanza’s central park to begin our day trip to the La Piedra Letrada petroglyphs. Are you ready?
These carvings are considered part of the Dominican and Caribbean rock art heritage. They’re also one of Constanza’s main tourist attractions, a town known as the Switzerland of the Caribbean for being the highest and coldest city in the Dominican Republic.
Accompanied by a local guide, we’ll explore every corner of this archaeological site, which once served as a sanctuary for the Taíno people. We’ll learn about their history and culture while admiring their legacy carved into the stone.
After this fascinating journey into the past, we’ll say goodbye at the meeting point 4 hours after the start of the activity.
