History, modernity, nature... Be amazed by the contrasts around the Peruvian capital with this Lima City Tour and visit the Santo Domingo Convent and more. Discover the best that the city has to offer!
Lima City Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Lima, then first things first make our way to Parque Intihuatana - found high on the cliffs of Miraflores, and home to the best views of the Lima bay.
The next spot we'll glimpse from the bus is the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site. From this pyramid, 25 metres high, we'll discover all about the pre-Colombian history of Lima, learning all about how the locals lived between the second and eighth centuries. Then it's on to the San Isidro district, where we'll visit the El Olivar de San Isidro park, a great spot to take some snaps!
And the tour continues, to the centre of Lima itself - declared a UNESCO World Heirtage Site. Here we'll take in the iconic plaza San Martín y la plaza Mayor, where the city was founded under its first name Ciudad de Reyes: "The City of Kings".
Next up... the Santo Domingo Convent, where you can find the relics of St. Rosa of Lima, St. Martin de Porres and St. Juan Macías. And perhaps the most stunning of all, is the library containing more than 25,000 ancient books - an incredible sight.
The tour then finishes back at your hotel, following an unforgettable four hours.
